1921年出生的许金玉自幼受父亲的影响，具有强烈的民族自尊心和爱国情怀。1950年台湾光复后，为了有效排除思想异己者，国民政府推行白色恐怖，时枪毙6000多人。当时在邮电局工作的许金玉组织参加了要求政府抹除本省和外省员工工资界限的游行，虽请愿被接受，但游行的员工遭到无情迫害。两位教习本省员工国语课程的老师被以匪谍罪名枪决，许金玉也因此获罪15年，在铁窗中度过了自己的青春年华……本片荣获第39届金马奖最佳纪录片奖、金穗奖最佳纪录录影带奖，并获国际纪录片双年展台湾奖和女性影展提名。...
