萨帕茹是个焰火工匠兼小发明家，为了抵制政府拆迁，萨帕茹一家成了“拆迁钉子户”，他们多在大楼的房子里不出来，还通过“伪冒”炸弹强迫市长给他们找了一座房子，原来这个房子是走私犯所住，还曾经在里面死过3个人，萨帕茹一家虽然住了进来，却遭到有着尊贵职业的邻居们的蔑视，同时还不时遭遇盗贼光临，原来这所房子里还藏着走私犯们藏下的“绿宝石”，为了得到绿宝石，萨帕茹一家人的生命受到威胁……...
